Our History
Founded in 1993 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the Muslim American Society (MAS) is a multifaceted entity dedicated to charitable, religious, social, cultural, and educational causes. Through our diverse programs, we aim to enrich individuals with Islamic knowledge, inspire community service, and foster civic engagement. Our mission aims to uplift both individuals and the broader society, empowering positive change through faith and action.
Our Goal
At MAS Columbus, our goal is to mobilize and empower the Muslim community across all areas of life. From physical wellness and spiritual growth to Islamic education and networking, we aim to provide opportunities that foster both personal and religious development. Our goal is to help the Muslim community in Columbus become the best versions of themselves, offering a safe, welcoming space free from discrimination and prejudice. Through social engagement and community-building, we inspire individuals to connect, learn, and become "agents of change" who contribute to the growth and well-being of their community throughout their lives.
