our Mission
Established in 1993 as a non-profit 501(C)(3) organization, the Muslim American Society (MAS) is a dynamic charitable, religious, social, cultural, and educational, organization. We offer unique programs and services that seek to better the individual and in turn the wider public by imparting Islamic knowledge, promoting community service, engaging in political activism, and much more.
Our Goals
Our goal as MAS Columbus is to mobilize the Muslim community in all walks of life. Whether it is physical activity, spiritual enlightenment, Islamic education, networking opportunities, and more; we hope to provide all Muslims opportunities to grow not only in religion but as people. We desire to help the Muslim community in Columbus to be the best versions of themselves by providing them a safe space to be their individual selves free from discrimination and prejudice. By providing social opportunities we hope individuals learn more about their community and the people that reside in them and hope this inspires them to be "Agents of Change" that grow their community throughout their lives.
